Adding Custom Metadata

To add metadata for a custom metadata source, complete the following steps:

Create the model.

Create the model to represent the metadata in the metadata source on the

Model

tab in Metadata Manager.

Add classes, properties, and relationships.

Add custom classes, properties, and relationships to the model on the

Model

tab.

Add the metadata to the Metadata Manager warehouse.

Create a resource in the metadata catalog that represents the source metadata on the

Browse

tab. Add custom metadata objects based on the classes that you create.
