Resource Configuration File Components

The resource configuration file consists of multiple XML elements. Each element describes a component of the resource configuration file. In addition, the resource configuration file can also contain run-time parameters.

The resource configuration file contains the following components:

Elements: Predefined XML elements that provide information about the metadata source files and how to apply mapping rules and mapping rule sets to each file.
Parameters: Parameters that specify run-time information about the metadata source files. For example, you can configure parameters to specify whether to get the latest metadata source files from a local machine.
