Batch Web Service Operations Overview

Batch Web Service Operations Overview

You can schedule, start, or stop existing workflows and tasks using Batch web service operations. You can get session statistics and performance data. You can retrieve workflow and session logs.
The batch web services consist of the following groups of services defined in separate WSDLs:
  • Metadata web services.
The operations for the Metadata web services are defined in the Metadata WSDL available on the Batch Web Services page of the Web Services Hub Console.
  • Data Integration web services.
The operations for the Data Integration web services are defined in the Data Integration WSDL available on the Batch Web Services page of the Web Services Hub Console.
This chapter explains the operations provided by the batch web services. For more information about the request and response XML documents for these operations, refer to the WSDL files.
Log segments obtained by batch web services operation calls are either in Integration Service code page or in UTF-8.
