Step 5. Configure Environment Variables

For Linux, create environment variables in the Azure cloud.

You can set the following environment variables:

setenv ODBCINI $INFA_HOME/ODBC7.1/odbc.ini
setenv ODBCINST $INFA_HOME/ODBC7.1/odbcinst.ini
setenv ODBCHOME $INFA_HOME/ODBC7.1
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH $ODBCHOME/lib:${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}
setenv PATH $INFA_HOME/ODBC7.1:${PATH}

Edit the odbc.ini file to the following syntax:

[DataDirect 7.1 SQL Server Wire Protocol]
Driver=<INFA_HOME>/ODBC7.1/lib/DWsqls27.so)

Install PowerCenter on the Azure Cloud
