Creating a LinkedIn Connection

Create a LinkedIn connection before you import physical data objects.

Click

Window

Preferences

Select

Informatica

Connections

Expand the domain in the

Available Connections

Select a connection type in

Social Media

and click

Add

Enter a connection name and optional description.

Click

Enter the consumer key and consumer secret.

Select whether you have the access token and secret.

Select

Yes

if you have the access token and secret.

Select

if you want to generate the access token and secret. The OAuth Utility opens the LinkedIn developer login page. Authorize the application. The

Authentication Successful

window appears. Close the window. The OAuth Utility populates the access token and access secret in the

Connection

wizard.

Click

Test Connection

to verify the connection to the LinkedIn web site.

Click

Finish
