SAP Objects for BW OHS Data Extraction Overview

You must create objects in the SAP system to read data from SAP BW.

Create the following objects in the SAP system:

Open Hub Destination: Create an Open Hub Destination (OHD) in SAP to read data from BW. You can create an OHD based on InfoCubes, DataStore objects, InfoObjects, and InfoSets.
Transformation: Create a transformation in SAP to map the source fields to the target fields. The source is the SAP object from which you want to read data. The target is the open hub destination to which you want to extract the data.
Data Transfer Process: Create a Data Transfer Process (DTP) in SAP to extract the data from SAP BW and write it to an SAP transparent table.
