Dynamic Mapping Example
Your organization has a large amount of data that keeps changing. Your organization needs to incorporate all the updated data in a short span of time. Create a dynamic mapping, where you can refresh the source schema dynamically to fetch the updated data. Add all the dynamic ports to the target to override the metadata of the existing ports.
Import the
Microsoft Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
read and write data objects.
Select a project or folder in the
Object Explorer
view.
Click
File
New
Mapping
.
The
Mapping
dialog box appears.
Enter the name of the mapping in the
Name
field.
Click
Finish
.
Drag the data object into a mapping.

dialog box appears.
Select the
Read
option and click
OK
.
In the
Data Object
tab, select the
At runtime, get data object columns from data source
check box.
Drag the data object into a mapping.
The
Microsoft Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 Data Object Acess
dialog box appears.
Select the
Write
option and click
OK
.
In the
Ports
tab, select the value of the
Columns defined by
as
Mapping Flow
.
Select all the source incoming ports and add the ports to the target.
