Prerequisites

Prerequisites

PowerExchange for Cassandra installs with the Informatica services and clients.
Before you can use PowerExchange for Cassandra, perform the following tasks:
  • Install or upgrade the Informatica services.
  • Create a Data Integration Service and a Model Repository Service in the Informatica domain.
  • Ensure that you have the PowerExchange for Cassandra license file. You do not require a separate ODBC license to use PowerExchange for Cassandra.
  • On Linux operating system, update the value of the
    Driver
     property to
    <Informatica installation directory>\tools\cassandra\lib\libcassandraodbc_sb64.so
     for the existing Cassandra data sources in the
    odbc.ini
     file
  • On Windows operating system, update the following properties in the Windows registry for the existing Cassandra data source name: 
    Driver=<Informatica installation directory>\tools\cassandra\lib\CassandraODBC_sb64.dll
Setup=<Informatica installation directory>\tools\cassandra\lib\CassandraODBC_sb64.dll
