Prerequisites for Phoenix HBase Database

Prerequisites for Phoenix HBase Database

Before you can use JDBC V2 objects with Phoenix HBase database in the source, target, or lookup during runtime, perform the following tasks:
  • In the Data Integration Service, add the Phoenix driver JAR file name in the
    phoenix.driver.name
    flag.
    For example,
    -Dphoenix.driver.name=phoenix-clienthbase-2.2-5.1.1.7.1.7.0-551.jar
  • Add the Phoenix driver JAR file in the distribution's library directory.
    For example,
    <Informatica_installation_directory>/services/shared/hadoop/CDH_7.1/lib/phoenixclient- hbase-2.2-5.1.1.7.1.7.0-551.jar
