Inserting the zpmsetparameters.ab4 Program

Before you insert the zpmsetparameters.ab4 program into a process chain, import the program into SAP BW.

In the

Process Chain Maintenance Planning View

window in SAP BW, click

Process Types

From the

Process Types

menu, click

General Services

ABAP Program

The

Insert ABAP Program

dialog box appears.

Click

Create

The

ABAP Program

dialog box appears.

Enter a unique name for the ABAP program process variant and enter a description.

Click

Enter

The Process Maintenance: ABAP Program window appears.

In the

Program Name

field, click the

Browse

button to select the zpmsetparameters.ab4 program.

Click

Change

next to the

Program Variant

field.

The

ABAP: Variants - Initial Screen

window appears.

Click

Create

In the

ABAP: Variants

dialog box, enter a name for the ABAP variant and click

Create

The

Maintain Variant

window appears.

In the

Maintain Variant

window, enter the

Maintain Variant

fields.

The following table describes the

Maintain Variant

fields:

Field	Description
DEST	Select the RFC destination name for connecting to the remote system. For example, SAP_PROD_SYS.
OHDEST	Enter the Open hub destination used for data extraction. For example, OH_DEST_01.
PROJECT	Enter the Informatica project name to organize related workflows and assets.
FOLDER	Enter the Informatica folder name within the Informatica project to group objects logically.
APP	Enter the Informatica application name associated with the configuration.
WORKFLOW	Enter the Informatica Workflow name that orchestrates the data tasks.
DOMAIN	Enter the Informatica Domain name that manages resources and services.
DIS	Enter the Data Integration Service name responsible for running workflows.

Click

Save and Exit

in the

Maintain Variant

window.

Click

Save and Exit

in the

ABAP Variants

window.

Click

Save and Exit

in the

Process Maintenance: ABAP Program

window.

Click

Enter

in the

Insert ABAP Program

dialog box.

The ABAP program appears in the

Process Chain Maintenance Planning View

window.

Link the Start process to the zpmsetparameters.ab4 program.

Enter the selection criteria to specify the process chains that you want to monitor and click

Execute

The

Job Overview

window appears.

Select the BI_PROCESS_ABAP job and click

Job Log

The

Job Log Entries

window appears. It includes an entry about the status of the workflow that the process chain was configured to start.
