Registering the Plug-in

If you upgrade PowerExchange for Web Services for PowerCenter from a previous version to the latest version, you must update the plug-in registration when you register the plug-in.
A plug-in is an XML file that defines the functionality of PowerExchange for Web Services. To register the plug-in, the PowerCenter Repository Service must run in the exclusive mode. Use the Informatica Administrator or
pmrep
RegisterPlugin command to register the plug-in.
If you do not have the privileges to register the plug-in, contact the user who manages the PowerCenter Repository Service.
