Configuring Sorted Ports

Configuring Sorted Ports

Configure sorted ports from the Application Source Qualifier.
  1. In the Mapping Designer, double-click the Application Source Qualifier.
  2. Click the
    Microsoft Dynamics CRM Properties
    tab.
  3. Click the Browse button by the Sorted Ports field.
    The
    Edit Metadata Extension Value - Sorted Ports
    dialog box appears.
  4. Select the attribute on which you want to apply the sort expression.
    All the fields in the source definition are available for selection.
    When you join entities, select the attributes of the primary entity.
  5. Select the sort type.
    You can sort by ascending or descending.
  6. Click
    Add to Sort Order
    .
    The condition appears in the
    Filter Expression
    pane. The sort expression appears in the following format in the
    Sort Order
    pane:
    <order attribute='<attribute name>' descending='<false/true>'/>
  7. Click
    OK
    .
