PowerExchange for Kafka installs with Informatica services.

If you upgrade from a previous version, you must register the PowerExchange for Kafka plug-in with the PowerCenter repository.

To import the schema of Kafka topic in JSON or Avro format, apply the Informatica EBF-16426 at https://tsftp.informatica.com/ to PowerCenter Client from the following location:

/updates/Informatica10/10.4.0

Effective in version 10.5.3, the Informatica installer doesn't include Hadoop or Databricks integration packages in the installer files. You can choose the packages that you want and install them along with Informatica installer or later through the Integration Package Manager. You can install the packages when you install, upgrade, or apply the hotfix to Informatica services and the Informatica clients.
