Registering the Plug-in from the Administrator Tool

Run the PowerCenter Repository Service in exclusive mode.

In the

Navigator

, select the PowerCenter Repository Service to which you want to add the plug-in.

In the

Contents

panel, click the

Plug-ins

view.

In the

Actions

menu of the

Domain

tab, select

On the

page, click the

Browse

button to locate the plug-in file.

Enter your user name, password, and security domain.

The

Security Domain

field appears when the Informatica domain contains an LDAP security domain.

Click

The PowerCenter Repository Service registers the plug-in with the repository. The results of the registration operation appear in the activity log.

Run the PowerCenter Repository Service in normal mode.
