Configure Kafka Target Session Properties

Configure Kafka Target Session Properties

You can configure the session properties for a Kafka target on the
Mapping
tab. Define the properties for the target instance in the session.
The following table describes the session properties that you can configure for a Kafka target session:
Property
Description
Metadata Fetch Timeout in milliseconds
Not applicable for PowerExchange for Kafka.
Batch Flush Time in milliseconds
The interval after which the data is published to the target.
Not applicable for PowerExchange for Kafka.
Batch Flush Size in bytes
The batch size of the events after which the PowerCenter Integration Service writes data to the target.
Not applicable for PowerExchange for Kafka.
Producer Configuration Properties
The configuration properties for the producer.
If you write data to a Kafka cluster that is configured for Kerberos authentication, include the following property to override the
Additional Connection Properties
specified in the Kafka connection:
security.protocol=SASL_PLAINTEXT,sasl.kerberos.service.name=kafka,sasl.mechanism=GSSAPI
