When PowerExchange built the IMS hierarchy from all records in the specified data map, an unsupported segment with a length of zero was discarded. PowerExchange cannot use a segment with a length of zero when reading or writing IMS unload files. As a result, the table and record that corresponds to the segment are deleted.
Processing continues. The unsupported segment is ignored.
Check whether the zero-length segment is required in the data map. If the segment is needed, use two data maps:
  • A data map that does not contain the zero-length segment for PowerExchange to use when writing IMS unload files with masked data
  • A data map that contains the zero-length segment PowerExchange to use when retrieving data
