You can use the PWXUMAP utility to generate lists of PowerExchange data maps and extraction maps, source schemas, or map lines and to generate reports of various types. You can also use the utility to convert source data map .dmp files to runtime .dmx format.
For example, you might want to use the utility to list data maps and extraction maps prior to using the DTLURDMO utility to copy maps from one PowerExchange system to another. You can then use the lists to verify that all data maps and extraction maps have been copied to the target system. Also, Informatica Global Customer Support might request that you use the PWXUMAP utility to provide a snapshot of data maps or extraction maps on your system.
The utility can perform the following tasks:
List data maps and extraction maps.
List source schemas.
List map lines in comma-delimited format.
Report CAPXRT or NRDB metadata.
Report metadata for data maps, schemas, tables, columns, or files and write the report to a text file on Windows.
Report summary or detailed information for the currently loaded runtime map.
Convert source .dmp data map files that match your schema and map masks to runtime .dmx files and optionally write the .dmx files to a remote Listener node.
