Changing the DB2 Columns in a Capture Registration

Changing the DB2 Columns in a Capture Registration

For a DB2 data source, you can add columns to and remove columns from a capture registration.
Changing an active capture registration has implications to the capture process. For more information, contact Informatica Global Customer Support.
  1. Open the registration group.
  2. On the
    Registration Group
    tab in the
    Resource Explorer
    , right-click the capture registration and click
    Amend Columns
    .
  3. The
    Capture Registration - Columns
    dialog box appears.
  4. Set the
    Select all and notify changes
    option to indicate whether you want to select all columns and be notified of any column changes in the schema:
    • Clear the option to not be notified of column changes.
    • Select the option to be notified of column changes.
  5. To add a column, select a column in the
    Available Columns
    list and click
    Add
    .
  6. To remove a column, select a column in the
    Current Columns
    list and click
    Remove
    .
  7. Click
    OK
    .
