Backing Up the Repository Content

Backing Up the Repository Content

You can back up the content of a Model repository to restore the repository content to another repository or to retain a copy of the repository.
  1. On the
    Manage
    tab, select the
    Services and Nodes
    view.
  2. In the Domain Navigator, select the Model Repository Service.
  3. On the
    Manage
    tab
    Actions
    menu, click
    Repository Contents
    Back Up
    .
    The
    Back Up Repository Contents
    dialog box appears.
  4. Enter the following information:
    Option
    Description
    Username
    User name of any user in the domain.
    Password
    Password of the domain user.
    SecurityDomain
    Domain to which the domain user belongs. Default is Native.
    Output File Name
    Name of the output file.
    Description
    Description of the contents of the output file.
  5. Click
    Overwrite
    to overwrite a file with the same name.
  6. Click
    OK
    .
    The Model Repository Service writes the backup file to the service backup directory.
