The PowerCenter Integration Service cannot connect to the Microsoft Exchange Server <servername>. Reason: <reason>.
PowerExchange for Email Server uses the Exchange Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) protocol to connect to the Microsoft Exchange Server and at least one of the following statements is true:
  • The mailbox user does not have the Log On as a Service permission.
  • The PowerCenter Integration Service is running under the account of a user who does not have the Act as a Part of the Operating System permission on the machine.
Verify that the mailbox user has the Log On as a Service permission on the PowerCenter Integration Service machine and the PowerCenter Integration Service machine is running under the account of a user who has the Act as a Part of the Operating System permission.
