Task 6: Concluding the Voting Process and Publishing a Business Term

After the level 2 voting process is complete, the data steward can publish or reject the business term to conclude the voting process after examining the status of the approval process.
Log in to the Analyst tool as a data steward to conclude the voting process and publish the business term.
  1. Click
    Open
     to open the Library workspace.
  2. In the Library Navigator, click
    Assets
    .
  3. Select the Equity Statement business term. The Analyst tool displays the business term in the Glossary workspace.
  4. Click the voting icon to open the voting page. The
    Voting Page
     panel appears.
  5. In the
    Voting Page
    , click
    Conclude Voting
    . The Analyst tool displays the
    Conclude Voting
    dialog box.
  6. From the
    Conclude Voting
     dialog box, select
    Publish Asset
    .
  7. Click
    OK
     to complete the task.
    The Analyst tool changes the business term status to Published.
