Overview

Overview

You can use the Server Manager Command Line Interface (CLI) commands to manage, run, and monitor replication tasks and schedules in a Data Replication distributed environment with the Server Manager component. With the CLI, you enter commands from command prompts and windows or other text-based consoles such as shells.
Use the Server Manager CLI commands to perform the following tasks:
  • Connect to, disconnect from, or ping a Server Manager
  • Manage replication configurations and Sync Point values
  • View database logs that have been processed for a configuration
  • List Server Manager instances and manage subservers
  • Configure data replication from one source to multiple targets
  • Manage replication tasks and schedules
  • View the execution logs for replication tasks
  • View connection information
  • Manage open transactions
  • Deploy configurations locally or to another replication environment
  • Manage database supplemental logging for all source types
  • Configure and manage user notifications
  • Get help information about the Server Manager CLI commands
  • Exit the Server Manager CLI
