You can use the same installer to install or upgrade Test Data Management (TDM).
You can upgrade from Test Data Management versions 10.2.0 HotFix 1, 10.2.0 HotFix 2 and 10.2.2.
If you have a TDM version earlier than 10.2.0 HotFix 1 for traditional installations or earlier than 10.2.2 for Data Engineering installations, you must upgrade to these versions before you can upgrade to 10.4.0. Refer to the upgrade documentation of the corresponding version for instructions on how to upgrade.
When you upgrade, the installer copies the TDM files to the specified directory. Upgrade the Test Data Manager Service content after you upgrade TDM to upgrade the objects.
The TDM installer does not upgrade Informatica service. If you are not on the required version of Informatica service, you must upgrade Informatica service and apply required EBFs before you upgrade TDM.
