Self-Service Portal Privileges

To perform tasks in the self-service portal you require certain privileges. Test Data Warehouse Service privileges determine the tasks that you can perform in the self-service portal. Configure privileges on the

Security

tab of the Administrator tool.

The Test Data Warehouse privilege group includes the Data Sets privilege group.

The privileges in the Data Sets privilege group determine the tasks that you can perform in the self-service portal.

The following table lists the privileges in the Data Sets privilege group and the self-service portal tasks that you can perform with each privilege:

View Data Set	-	User can perform the following actions in the self-service portal: View data pack Monitor
Manage Data Set	View Data Set	User can perform the following actions in the self-service portal: View data pack Manage data pack Create a copy of a data pack Create a subset of a data pack Monitor

The following tasks require permission and privileges in addition to the Data Sets privileges:

Create a copy of a data pack	You require the following additional privileges and permission: PowerCenter Repository Service privileges Permission on the folder in the PowerCenter repository View Connection privilege in the Test Data Manager Service privileges
Create a subset of a data pack	You require the following additional privileges and permission: PowerCenter Repository Service privileges Permission on the folder in the PowerCenter repository View Connection privilege in the Test Data Manager Service privileges
View related data	You require the following additional privileges and permission: PowerCenter Repository Service privileges Permission on the folder in the PowerCenter repository
Deploy a data pack	You require the following additional privileges and permission: PowerCenter Repository Service privileges Permission on the folder in the PowerCenter repository
