You can create and manage pass phrases in Test Data Manager. When you create a pass phrase, TDM stores the pass phrase information in the TDM repository.

The pass phrase generates a key to encrypt or decrypt data. After you encrypt the source data, you can use the same format preserving encryption masking rule configuration and the same pass phrase in a plan to decrypt it to get back the original data.
