Reassign Oracle Resource Connections for PowerCenter

Reassign Oracle Resource Connections for PowerCenter

Effective in version 10.5.8, the Catalog Administrator displays the database schema connection names of Oracle resources for PowerCenter in a new format
ConnectionName.SchemaName
.
The new format appears by default, even when the schema name has not been overridden in PowerCenter mappings or workflows.
After you upgrade to 10.5.8, reassign the connections manually in the Connection Assignment workspace. When you reassign the connections for Oracle resources for PowerCenter, you only need to select the database name from the Assign Connection dialog box. Previously, you had to select the schema name.
For more information about assigning connections in Catalog Administrator, see the
Informatica 10.5.8 Catalog Administrator Guide
.
