Use Temporary Tables to Handle Duplicate Table Names

Use Temporary Tables to Handle Duplicate Table Names

Effective from version 10.5.9, the MetaDex tool introduces the
Temporary
field to configure Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) where multiple objects create tables with duplicate names on the same connection.
The field allows specifying patterns to identify tables with duplicate names.
When a table name matches the pattern, the system appends a unique prefix, such as #TMP_0_<TABLENAME>, #TMP_1_<TABLENAME> to its name.
The unique prefix lets the MetaDex scanner to display a separate lineage for each table.
For more information about configuring the ODI MetaDex scanner to extract metadata from an ODI data source, see the
Informatica® 10.5.9 MetaDex Scanner Configuration Guide
