You can deploy a process, connection, or service connector to a Secure Agent or to Cloud Server. Typically, you deploy assets that contain only contain only cloud-based applications to Cloud Server. If an asset needs to access an on-premise database, you need to deploy the asset to a Secure Agent.

For example, you can only deploy a JBDC connection to a Secure Agent.
