Configuring the JDBC driver for PostgreSQL Connector

Informatica provides different versions of JDBC driver within the Secure Agent installation directory. These drivers are available in the
base
,
latest
, and
rollback
folders. The PostgreSQL Connector uses the driver available in the
base
folder by default. If you want to use the driver available in the
latest
or
rollback
folder, set the
POSTGRES_JDBC_DRIVER_DIR
custom property in the Secure Agent properties.
When you connect to a PostgreSQL database version 15.x or 16.x using the PostgreSQL connection, ensure that you use the JDBC driver from the
latest
folder.
For more information about the different versions of JDBC driver, and instructions on setting the required custom property, see Configure the JDBC driver for PostgreSQL Connector Knowledge article.
