You can use a multiple-record data map to read data from a nonrelational data source and write the multiple record types in a single pass to a nonrelational target. This process is called a multiple-record write.
When Cloud Data Integration performs a multiple-record write, it preserves source sequencing information. To enable multiple-record writes with sequencing, select the
Use Sequence Fields (Select All Tables)
option in the
Select Source Tables
dialog box for both the source and target definition. When you select these options, Cloud Data Integration generates primary key (DTL_PK) and foreign key fields (DTL_FK) for each group in the source and target definitions, which enables Cloud Data Integration to reassemble the data in the correct sequence at the target.
