Access your Azure account and create an SQL database.
On the Azure portal, navigate to the workspace you created.

Open Synapse Studio

Navigate to
Data
, click
+
, and then click
SQL database
.
On the
Create SQL database
page, select
Serverless
as the SQL pool type.
Specify the database name, and then click
Create
.
When you configure a Microsoft Azure Synapse SQL connection in Cloud Data Integration, ensure that the database points to the SQL database that you create and not to the master database.
