Export data

Export data

You can export reference data from
Reference 360
to custom tables in SAP in batches.
To export data from
Reference 360
to SAP S/4HANA, you must create export jobs using the Cloud Data Integration assets of
Reference 360 Extension for SAP Finance
. For more information about creating export jobs for reference data, see
Export reference data
. For more information about Cloud Data Integration assets, see Cloud Data Integration assets.
Before you export data, ensure that you have configured crosswalks from the ECC and S4H code lists to the Enterprise code list in
Reference 360
. For more information about crosswalks, see
Manage crosswalks
.
After you create export jobs, run the jobs. The export jobs use Business 360 Connector to read data from
Reference 360
and SAP Table Connector to write data into custom tables in SAP. When you run export jobs, the associated mappings access the S4H code lists of master reference data sets in
Reference 360
and then export it into the custom tables in SAP. Every reference data set in
Reference 360
is mapped to a corresponding custom table in SAP for SAP objects, such as General Ledger Chart of Account Master (GL COA Master), General Ledger Company Code Master (GL CompanyCode Master), and Cost Center.
Reference 360 Extension for SAP Finance
provides outbound field mappings for custom SAP tables that are structured to align with the object schemas for Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit (LTMC). For more information about the outbound mappings, see Outbound mapping of Reference 360 attributes and GL Account object fields and Outbound mapping of Reference 360 attributes and Cost Center object fields.
For more information about LTMC, see
the SAP documentation
. You can migrate data from the custom tables in SAP to the SAP object tables using any migration approach.
The following image shows the process to export data from
Reference 360
to custom tables in SAP in batches: The process of data export from Reference 360 to custom tables in SAP uses an
