Cloning the predefined layout

Cloning the predefined layout

The predefined
Customer 360
 layout has preconfigured components. Ensure that you don't modify the preconfigured components. If you want to update the components, you must create a copy of the predefined layout and update the components in the cloned layout.
To customize the predefined layout, use the Application Editor of the Provisioning tool.
  1. In the Provisioning tool, click
    Configuration
     >
    Layout Designer
    .
    The
    Layout Designer
     page appears.
  2. In the
    Layout Categories
     section, select the predefined layout.
  3. Click
    Edit
    .
  4. In the
    Data Component
     list, select the predefined layout.
  5. To create a copy of the predefined layout, click
    Settings
    .
  6. On the
    Record Details Component Designer
     page, modify the configuration name.
    For example, if the predefined layout name is Person, you can modify the configuration name as Person_copy.
  7. Click
    Done
    .
  8. To save the layout copy, click
    Save
    .
You can now update the components in the cloned layout.
