Configuring MySQL

After you install the components of Identity Resolution, you must configure MySQL so that Identity Resolution can communicate with it.
Informatica recommends that you must be an experienced DBA with appropriate authority to configure MySQL.
To configure MySQL for Identity Resolution, perform the following tasks:
  1. Create a user and grant the required privileges to create and access the Identity Resolution tables and objects.
  2. Create tables and database objects by running the database scripts.
  3. Define an ODBC data source on the Search Server.
