Uninstalling Identity Resolution in Graphical Mode

Uninstalling
Identity Resolution
in Graphical Mode

You can uninstall
Identity Resolution
in graphical mode on Windows and UNIX.
On UNIX, the installer requires an X Window server. On Windows, log in to the computer as an administrator before you start the uninstallation.
  1. Stop all the
    Identity Resolution
    clients and servers and ensure that the
    Identity Resolution
    Server processes are not running.
  2. Perform one of the following tasks:
    • Run the
      install --uninstall
      command from the
      <Identity Resolution Installation Directory>
      directory that you want to uninstall.
    • Run the
      install --uninstall=
      <Identity Resolution Installation Directory>
      command.
      The command uninstalls the installation directory that you specify.
    • On Windows: From the Windows Start menu, click
      Programs
      Informatica
      Identity Resolution [Version]
      Uninstall Informatica IR Products
      .
    • On UNIX: Run the
      uninstall
      script from the
      <Identity Resolution Installation Directory>
      directory.
    A confirmation message appears.
  3. Click
    Yes
    to uninstall
    Identity Resolution
    , or click
    No
    to exit.
