Limitations

Up to 5 fields may be specified for a composite key.

The fields specified in the

FIELD= control

must be supplied when calling

ssan3_get_keys

ssan3_get_ranges

Only key sizes of 8 or 16 are allowed (for all standard populations). Key size is 8 for fields such as

Person_Name

Address_Part1

Organization_Name

etc, and 16 for fields such as

Code

Telephone_Number

etc.

To use the new composite key for the build keys and ranges API calls you must use the same

FIELD= definition

(for example

FIELD=Peson_Name,Address_Part1
