Composite Keys

Composite Keys

A composite key is a single key for multiple fields. You can generate a composite key by specifying multiple fields in the controls parameter of the
get keys
and
get ranges
calls. You can specify up to five fields to generate a composite key. SSA-NAME3 concatenates the key for each field and appends all the concatenated keys to generate a composite key for multiple fields. A composite key instead of multiple keys improves the search performance.
For more information about the composite keys, see the
Informatica SSA-NAME3 10.5 HotFix 1 Application and Database Design Guide.
