Configuring IBM DB2 UDB

Configuring IBM DB2 UDB

After you install the components of
Identity Resolution
, you must configure IBM DB2 UDB so that
Identity Resolution
can communicate with it.
Informatica recommends that you must be an experienced DBA with appropriate authority to configure IBM DB2 UDB.
To configure IBM DB2 UDB for
Identity Resolution
, perform the following tasks:
  1. Set the database configuration parameters.
  2. Create a user and grant the required authorities.
  3. Create tables by running the database scripts.
  4. Define an ODBC Data Source on the Search Server.
  5. Install user-defined functions on all the source and target databases.
  6. Install IBM DB2 Driver for ODBC and CLI.
  7. Optionally, set the environment variables to improve load performance.
