Effective in version 9.5.2, to balance the resource utilization and reliability, the database connection is reused for a period before being reallocated. To change the default value, set the environment variable

SSA_RBGRP_DB_REUSE

to the number of minutes to keep the connection alive.

Previously, a database connection was created for each interaction to ensure maximum reliability.
