Data Director Known Limitations

The following table describes known limitations:

MDM-24518	When you unmerge a record that has a large number of cross-reference records associated with it, the unmerge process fails.
MDM-24431	When you merge records, Data Director overrides the incorrect value with the value that you enter in the Merge Preview column even when state management is not enabled for the base object associated with the business entity. Workaround: If you want to override values, ensure that state management is enabled for the base object with which the business entity is associated.
MDM-24385	When the Elasticsearch search engine is used, if the search string contains accented characters, records are not found. Workaround: Avoid using accented characters in the search string.
MDM-24156	If you use SAML based authentication, users cannot search for records in Data Director and access the Hub Console. Workaround: To use SAML based authentication, create the users in the MDM Hub as externally authenticated users.
MDM-24316	When you upgrade from version 10.2 or earlier, non-administrative users cannot log in to an application. The issue occurs when the application that is created in the Provisioning tool has the same name as the Data Director application that was upgraded.
MDM-23745	When you sort on a column that contains a lookup list with more than 40 values, the sort fails.
