Editing the Default Security Realm

In WebLogic, a security realm is a container for managing user credentials and roles.
  1. In the WebLogic Server Administration Console, in the MDM10 domain, click
    Security Realms
    .
  2. Click the default realm, called
    myRealm
    .
  3. Click the
    Providers
     tab, and then click the
    Authentication
     tab.
  4. On the Authentication tab, click
    DefaultAuthenticator
    .
  5. Click the
    Configuration
     tab, and then click the
    Common
     tab.
  6. From the Control Flag list, select
    OPTIONAL
    .
  7. Click
    Save
    .
  8. Restart the WebLogic instance.
