Editing and Deleting Roles

Editing and Deleting Roles

To edit or delete an existing role, use the Roles tool in the
Security Access Manager
workbench.
  1. Start the Roles tool.
  2. Acquire a write lock.
  3. Scroll the roles list and select the role that you want to edit.
    • For each property that you want to edit, click the
      Edit
      button next to it, and specify the new value.
    • Point anywhere in the navigation pane, right-click, and choose
      Delete Role
      , and click
      Yes
      when prompted for confirmation.
  4. Click the
    Save
    button to save your changes.
