Start Elasticsearch

Start Elasticsearch

After you set up Elasticsearch, start each node of the Elasticsearch cluster for the changes to take effect.
  1. Open a command prompt, and change to the following directory:
    <elasticsearch installation directory>/bin
  2. Run the following command:
    On UNIX.
    elasticsearch.sh
    On Windows.
    elasticsearch.bat
