Enabling the TCP/IP Network Protocol

Enabling the TCP/IP Network Protocol

Use SQL Server Configuration Manager to enable the TCP/IP network protocol, which the MDM Hub environment requires.
  1. Start the SQL Server Configuration Manager.
  2. In the console pane, expand
    SQL Server Network Configuration
    , and then click
    Protocols for MSSQLSERVER
    .
  3. In the details pane, right-click
    TCP/IP
    , and then click
    Enable
    .
  4. Restart the SQL Server service.
    The TCP/IP network protocol is enabled.
