, that defines the format for the IDD and IDC configuration XML files. This XSD file is very useful when working with XML editors. It can guide you in editing the file and, most importantly, it is used by the editor to verify the correctness of the XML in the IDD or IDC configuration file. Every configuration XML file should pass this test before being imported into the IDD Configuration Manager.

While a simple text editor can be used to modify the IDD configuration, there are many XML editing tools that make working with XML much easier, including:
