Issue Categories

During the validation process, the

Repository Manager

categorizes each issue. The issues appear under different categories in the Issues Found pane.

The following table describes the issue categories:

Issue Category	Description
Information	Information-only message that warrants attention. Example: A package does not contain all records from the underlying table.
Warnings	Inconsistency that does not have a harmful effect on the MDM Hub operations.
Errors	Problem that can prevent promote, import, and export operations from completing successfully.
FATAL	Severe errors including errors that might result in other errors if not remedied immediately. Example: Repository cannot load or unknown data type.
Domain Results	The tab appears only when you validate an Operational Reference Store of Customer 360 or Supplier 360. Displays errors and warnings related to the Operational Reference Stores of Customer 360 or Supplier 360.

You can promote, import, and export repositories that pass validation without any errors, fatal issues, and domain issues.
