Deploy IDMC on an existing VCN

To deploy IDMC on an existing VCN, perform the following steps:

Enter the following information in the

Virtual Cloud Network

panel:

Parameter label	Description
Network Compartment	Required. The identifier for the Oracle virtual network compartment where you want to deploy IDMC.
Network Strategy	Required. Select Use Existing VCN and Subnet .
Existing VCN	Required. The VCN where you want to create the compute instances and network resources.

Enter the following information in the

Subnet

panel:

Parameter label	Description
Subnet Type	Required. Choose between private and public subnets. Make sure that you choose the correct subnet type for the existing subnet. If there is a mismatch in subnet type, the deployment may fail.
Existing Subnet	Required. The subnet within the selected VCN. For private subnet type, make sure that the selected subnet can connect to IDMC by using any type of connectivity option.
Network Security Group Configuration	Required. Choose whether to use the recommended network security group configuration or customize it.

If you have selected

Customize Network Security Group

in the

Network Security Group Configuration

field, enter the following information in the

Network Security Group

panel:

Parameter label	Description
Name	Required for customized network configuration. The name of the Network Security Group.
Allowed Ingress Traffic (CIDR Block)	Required for customized network configuration. The CIDR IP range that is permitted to access IDMC Secure Agent. Format is x.x.x.x/x.
