Deploying into an existing VPC

You can deploy
Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
into an existing VPC.
Perform the following steps:
  1. On the
    Create stack
    page, click
    Next
    . The
    Specify stack details
    page displays.
  2. Enter a name for your stack or accept the default name.
  3. Complete the parameters, using the following tables:
    Network configuration
    Parameter

    VPC ID
    requires input
    The VPC that you are deploying to.
    Subnet ID
    requires input
    The publicly accessible subnet ID within the VPC for the Informatica instance.
    Allowed Remote Access CIDR
    requires input
    Allowed CIDR block for external access to the Informatica VM.
    Amazon EC2 configuration
    Parameter
    Default
    Description
    Key Pair Name
    requires input
    Name of an existing EC2 KeyPair to enable external access to the Secure Agent. Requires corresponding keypair files for SSH access to the server.
    Instance Type
    M5.xlarge
    Type of Instance to use.
    Enable Elastic IP Addressing
    No
    Assign elastic IP addresses to the instance.
    Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
    account details
    Parameter

    Data Center Location
    North-America
    Region as per the registered user.
    IDMC User Name
    requires input
    User name of the Informatica account.
    IDMC User Token
    requires input
    Install token required to deploy the Secure Agent.
    Paste the token that you generated in Generate an install token.
    If you don't have an install token, you can generate another one.
    Secure Agent Group Name
    Name of the Secure Agent group to which the Secure Agent will join.
    If your account doesn't have the Secure Agent group specified here, the Secure Agent is added to an unnamed group.
    Leave this field empty to add the Secure Agent to its own group.
  4. Click
    Next
    . The
    Options
    page is displayed.
  5. Optionally, specify tags (key-value pairs) for resources in your stack.
  6. If you want to view the logs on failure, set the stack failure option to
    Preserve successfully provisioned resourced
    in the Advanced section.
  7. Click
    Next
    .
  8. Review all your parameters and template settings in the Review section. Also check the cost and billing details.
  9. Click
    Submit
    to deploy the stack. Amazon AWS displays the CloudFormation dashboard.
  10. Monitor the status of the stack. The deployment is complete when the status is CREATE_COMPLETE.
  11. Use the
    Resources
    tab for the stack to view the created resources for the database and VM details. Use the
    Events
    tab to view log information. Use the
    Parameters
    tab to view parameters information.
