Create an email connection so that RulePoint connects to the mail server.
  1. On the
    Design
    tab, select
    Connections
    .
  2. In the contents pane, click
    Actions
    New
    .
  3. Under
    Connection
    , configure the following properties:
    Field
    Value
    Name
    Email Connection
    Description
    Connection to connect to the mail server
    Type
    Email Connection
  4. Under
    Configurations
    , configure the following properties:
    Field
    Value
    Email Server
    Provide your email server address, for example, mail.company.com
  5. Click
    Test Connection
    to verify the success or failure of the connection.
  6. Click
    Save
    .
