Creating a Connection

Creating a Connection

  1. On the
    Design
     tab, click the
    Connections
     view.
  2. From the
    Actions
     menu in the top-right corner of the view, select
    New
    .
    The
    New Connection
     dialog box appears.
  3. Enter values for the connection type and related configuration details.
  4. Optionally, click
    Test Connection
     to test the connection.
    You test a connection to validate the connection information provided.
  5. Click
    OK
     on the
    Test Connection
     dialog box.
  6. Click
    Save
    .
